I think you hit a buslelye there fellas!
Thank you Mike and a Happy New Year to you as well!
Getting committed to someone is the ultimate goal in life. It means a lot and should be taken that way.
All of the things you have listed are essential for a good relationship and when one or both are not following that, the relationship bond will break.
Did you know that a guy that is not going to commit, might have a complex that was put into his head by his parents without even knowing it?
Let’s take a look at the reason that a woman would want us to commit. Are all of those reasons good ones?
Well, not really. But I guess it comes down to what YOU think is a good reason!
Nobody wants to be pushy, but after a while, what is a woman to do?
You move along to someone new. If the guy is not going to commit, there is no reason to stick around and HOPE.
IF the guy does not want to commit, yet, then wait a bit. If you have been talking about commitment and he still does not want to, then it might be time to find a new man, right?
Yes, wait. But how long? I do not want to wait in my life forever.
I guess if you can notice the signs before it is too late, that will save you some time in the end. Good point!
That is a pretty good track record with your clients. The numbers are high enough that I would consider your services.
I had a girl tell me one time that if she cannot have sex more than one time per week that SHE was not going to commit to ME. It was weird having the tables turned around at that point.
That is weird. I would question your motives right away :)
Like many of the others here, I would not want to MAKE a man commit. That just does not seem right to me.
You mean making the guy commit? Or having to force the guy to commit?
There is a lot you can do to make sure that a guy is willing to admit he will commit, right? Just stay on top of it and make sure you are giving him reasons to commit to YOU.
This just seems wrong. unless you have been talking about marriage, why assume he wants to get married?
very true. it should be something that is talked about before you go off the deep end.
There was a time when I thought this was going to be the only thing I worried about. When I stopped worrying about that, it all came around and we have been together for years!
These are good tips. I will be using these soon if my man is not “ready” to commit.
yes they are. I live by some of these however, I have noticed that most men fight back when they are pushed too hard.
If you think that you can make a guy commit, then you must be dealing with a weak man. Most of the men that I know, would see that in a second and turn into huge jerks because of it.
Very good perspective on the topic.
I do not want to make him commit. Just like the others that I have seen commenting here, I just want it to happen naturally, is that ok?
That is totally fine to feel that way.
Awesome. I have been waiting long enough now and hope that I can get him to commit to me before the new year!
Good luck with that. I hope you are following the advice you see here.
I would be interested in a free conversation. I might be able to gauge where my relationship is right now.
Me, too! Let us know how it goes for you!
Making a man commit is not going to end well. With the divorce rate so high these days, why would you want to push it? If the guy is not into you, find one that is.
My thoughts are exactly like yours. Set a timeline and if the commitment does not come by then, move along.
I would say that if he is not planning dates, that is a pretty solid sign that he has other ideas about being with you.
I felt the same way, but a guy that I met was not good at making creative decisions like that.
Maybe. I would say that it might have more to do with how long you have been together, right?
