The Laziest Ways To Lose Weight: Two Easy Fat Burning Drink Recipes

The Laziest Ways To Lose Weight: Two Easy Fat Burning Drink Recipes

Everyone’s looking for lazier and lazier ways to lose weight.

  • “I want to lose weight by doing 10 minutes of cardio per month!”

  • “I want to lose weight by falling asleep in front of my computer!”

  • “I want to lose weight by eating buckets of ice cream!”

And while those are obviously ridiculous, there are actually a couple of stupidly easy ways to lose weight.

They don’t involve dieting.

They don’t involve exercise.

They don’t involve restricting when you eat.

All you have to do is drink some stuff.

I know, I know, there’s a catch right? As in: what the hell kind of stuff are you going to tell me to drink?

Actually – some tasty stuff! And healthy, too!

Here are two recipes for fat loss drinks to make at home that will burn hundreds of calories for nothing – even while you’re sitting at the computer!

Recipe #1: The Cinnamon And Honey Secret

Don’t ask me why this works, just do it and laugh your way to the bank (or to the smaller clothes store, or whatever you want to put in here to make this metaphor work).

You’ll need:

  • 2 tsp of raw honey

  • 1 tsp of cinnamon

  • One cup of water

How to make:

First, get the water boiling.

Then, pour the boiling water over the 1tsp of cinnamon. Cover it and allow the cinnamon to steep and the water to cool down.

Once the water is cool enough to drink (and really we’re aiming for warm/lukewarm here, if it’s too hot it will destroy the enzymes in the honey), add the 2tsp of honey to the mixture.

That’s it! That’s literally it. It cannot be easier than that.

Drink half of it before you go to bed at night. Cover and refrigerate the other half and drink it in the morning without reheating it.

If you drink it on an empty stomach, it will burn calories all night and all day long!

Recipe #2: The Fat Burning Water Flush

I know, it sounds like a toilet. Gross. You need to get your head out of the gutter and graduate from 2nd grade, because that’s where your sense of humor is.

In the toilet. Your sense of humor is about poop jokes.

Anyway, I’m not going to ask you to drink poop. That is sick and disgusting. Definitely don’t think about drinking poop right now.

Instead, I’m going to give you the recipe for a drink that’s going to flush toxins out of your body at the same time that it boosts your metabolism, gives you more energy, and ignites weight loss.

You’ll need:

  • 1 sliced up medium cucumber

  • 1 sliced up medium lemon

  • 12 small leaves of spearmint

  • 1 tsp of fresh grated ginger

  • 2 liters of water

How to make:

Are you ready? This is the hard part:

You have to put all this stuff together in a large pitcher and sock it away in the refrigerator for the ingredients to blend.

I know! Putting it all in the same pitcher? And then putting it in the refrigerator and walking away? This is so much work.

Anyway, it’s not.

Just drink that mixture over the course of the next day and you’re going to promote your body’s health, energy, and weight loss, all at the same time!

I tend to do one of these in the morning as it seems to wake my body up and get me ready to go for the day!

  • StonerMan May 3, 2015, 4:50 pm

We all know there is no such thing as a “lazy” way to lose weight. Let’s just keep it real and know that losing weight takes hard work AND determination, neither of which include lazy in the description.

Cinnamon and Honey goes down my throat a couple of times per week and it is great! A simple little addition to any diet that really turns on the fat burning inside your body!

  • Jeannette B. April 30, 2015, 11:07 am

Oh! I love to hear about lazy ways to burn fat :) This is a great start for sure. I tend to do one of these in the morning and that makes me feel pretty good the rest of the day.

    • Debra C. May 3, 2015, 4:34 pm

Me too! Anything that I can do that does not take a lot of work, but benefits me in the end is good :)

The Burning Water Flush is one that I like to do. It is very refreshing and in the end, I feel like the inside of my body has been cleaned.

  • Marylin April 28, 2015, 2:38 pm

These are two things that can get your body working the right way on the inside. It is always smart to hydrate your body in the morning hours to start your day. From that point, it will be happy to work with you.

  • Gabriella April 27, 2015, 2:52 pm

I usually say there is no “lazy” way, but I guess after reading this, it sort of makes sense. It is a great way to start out a diet, that is for sure!

  • ganga rai April 27, 2015, 2:21 pm

    I m going to try

    • Rosie April 30, 2015, 10:51 am

Awesome! It is so easy to make, right? How much easier can a simple morning detox flush be?!

  • Lewie B. April 26, 2015, 12:03 am

The burning water flush is a great way to start your diet off right. A small detox and the inside of your body is ready to process foods the right way!

    • iliana July 19, 2016, 2:17 pm

Ok for these two recipes how often do you have to do them everyday?

  • Sly H. April 24, 2015, 7:08 pm

I wish there was a real “lazy” way to lose weight :) I understand that it takes time, but it looks like the recipe that you are sharing here is a way that you can jump start the fat burning in your body, that is a good thing!

  • Miles April 24, 2015, 6:49 pm

LOL, it is funny that there is a “lazy” way to lose weight. Of course there are things that you can do to help your weight loss along the way that seem to be very easy, but losing weight comes from hard work, nothing else.

  • Mookey April 23, 2015, 7:57 pm

I would say that is lazy LOL. However, I am not sure it will be effective in the long run, do you?

    • Jessika April 28, 2015, 2:56 pm

I thought the same thing when I first started doing this and I could not believe how good I felt. I DO think it will benefit in the long run. I think you should just try it and see what happens.

  • LAGurl April 23, 2015, 7:21 pm

I can see the reasons that someone would want to lose some weight, but there is no “real” lazy way to do it, right?

It is going to take time to lose the weight and get your body back on track!

    • Daryle Jonna April 28, 2015, 9:10 pm

Yes. Anything that is worth your time and energy is going to take time. Even though these recipes will help burn the calories naturally, “lazy” is not how to lose weight.

  • Brett Middle April 21, 2015, 9:53 pm

I love lazy ways to lose weight :) I am going to do these and report back which ones I feel are the good ones!

  • Polly9 April 21, 2015, 9:52 pm

I see the spearmint, ginger and lemon recipe is on here. I think that is a good flush for your system. It will clean a few things out and keep you feeling fresh on top of that!

  • Abbey Milhome April 21, 2015, 9:25 pm

So many people are concerned with losing weight quickly. It all comes down to the routine that you have and you will see the weight just fall off. I am thinking there is no “real”, lazy way to lose weight.

  • Heidi J. April 20, 2015, 6:01 pm

I am looking hard at the honey and cinnamon recipe you have here. That ones seems easy and tasty :) I’ll report back if I find it is helpful over a 14 day period.
